Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do is a proud charter member of the Action International Martial Association (AIMAA). We have classes in both South and North Lanarkshire where we teach a style of Tae Kwon Do which comes directly from our association Founder and President Grandmaster Hee Il Cho.

We have something for everyone within our classes! We teach a combination of traditional Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Kickboxing, Grappling and effective Self Defence.

Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do is owned and operated by Karim and Tracey Belgacem, a husband and wife team, who have a combined forty five years of martial arts experience.

Mrs Belgacem, our Head Instructor, was honoured to recieved an appreciation award during Master Darcy's recent visit to our school.

The award, presented by Master Darcy at our seminar, was in recognition of the continued work Mrs Belgacem does within our school teaching our children's and adult classes as well as all of the administration work she processes behind the scenes.

Our school continues to go from strength to strength and this is mainly because of the tireless work undertaken by Mrs Belgacem to ensure our success. 

No one is more worthy of such an accolade.

AIMAA Black Belt Mr Billy Reid will run this year's Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 26th May in aid of Cancer Research. Mr Reid, who trains at both Cho's Larkhall and Cho's Bellshill has been in training for the event for many months and everyone at the Tae Kwon Do school wishes him all the very best for the race.

Mr Reid has been a dedicated AIMAA member for many years alongside his son Jack. Both have attended the AIMAA Summer Camp and tested under Grandmaster Hee Il Cho. Jack, also a black belt, is also a former AIMAA World Champion!

Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do offers a varied array of children's classes that keep all of our junior students fit, healthy, motivated and inspired!

We believe in a distinct balance of discipline and fun within our children's classes and mix all of our punching, kicking and exercise drills with a strict code of respect, manners and positive attitude. You can read more about our Children's classes by clicking here.
