Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do is a proud charter member of the Action International Martial Association (AIMAA). We have classes in both South and North Lanarkshire where we teach a style of Tae Kwon Do which comes directly from our association Founder and President Grandmaster Hee Il Cho.

We have something for everyone within our classes! We teach a combination of traditional Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Kickboxing, Grappling and effective Self Defence.

Belgacem's School of Cho's Tae Kwon Do is owned and operated by Karim and Tracey Belgacem, a husband and wife team, who have a combined forty five years of martial arts experience.

We are proud to announce a seminar at our school with Mr Scott Mcveigh who is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under UFC Legend Royce Gracie!

This seminar will be held at our Larkhall School on Sunday 4th March between 12-2pm and will cost £15 (Please see Mr Belgacem for family costs).

This is a fantastic opportunity to train with a legitimate black belt instructor who has trained with and been promoted by a true legend of the martial arts!

Mr Mcveigh is the only scottish pracititioner to be promoted to black belt by Royce Gracie. Royce Gracie comes from the original family who designed BJJ as the art was originally concieved by his father Helio Gracie.

This seminar is open to all adult students and high grade children students also. Mr Mcveigh will teach the basics of this wonderful art which we feel truly complments our Tae Kwon Do striking techniques as well as self defence techniques.

We will be handing our seminar registration forms in class soon.

Plans for this years awards ceremony are well underway! This year's event will once again be held within the Hamilton County Building's banquetting suite and will take place on Saturday 11th February.

Please speak to Mr or Mrs Belgacem to confirm your tickets ASAP! Also, please remember that the awards night is open to all students so if you would like to come and support those nominated you are more than welcome. Students will be in attendance from Hamilton, Larkhall, Bellshill and Lochend.

AIMAA President and Founder, Grandmaster Hee Il Cho will soon, once again, grace the cover of World renowned martial arts magazine Black Belt.

Grandmaster Cho, who recently visited California to shoot the article was accompanied by his senior student and European Director, Master Darcy. The artice will be on 'The Common Mistakes Made During Kicking'. To view a preview video released by Black Belt please click here.

We will be recieving an allocation of the magazines when it is released and these will be available at the school.
